Pride to the Side

When we get upset at family members, sometimes that is an anger that is hard to bounce back from. We think that family shouldn’t upset us this way and because they did we will just hold a grudge and not speak. Maybe hold a grudge and not deal with them at all. Since we are followers of God, do you think God would hold a grudge against us? It‘s because of God that we can master the skill of forgiveness. First we must forgive ourselves for staying upset, getting upset and holding grudges. After that forgive the family member who causes us to be upset. God forgave us and is still forgiving us, can we place our pride to aside and forgive those that hurt us too?

““Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against a fellow Israelite, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.”

‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭19:18‬ ‭NLT‬‬
